primarycoalSharon, Haaland Married Here in Lovely Church CeremonyMiss Sharon Lynn Haaland, daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Alf Haaland of Moab, and Mr. Roger Evan Hall, son of Mr, and Mrs, Carl03 Hall of Bluff, were married at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 13, at the Community Baptist Church in Moab. Rev. Vernon Kendall officiated at the double-ring ceremony.The candlelight services were performed at an altar flanked with baskets of pink and white gladiolas tied with huge white satin, bows. Silver and white bells wore hung over the door, and a white runner marked the aisle.The bride wore a formal wedding gown of white satin and organza, with a lace bodice. Her finger-tip veil was held with a pearl and sequin tiara. She carried a bouquet of white gardenias and roses. She was given ■ir. marriage by her father.Maid of honor was Miss Linda Merrill. She wore a ballerina length dress of yellow satin and organza with matching accessories. She carried a bouquet of yellow rosebuds.Best man was Theodore Hall, brother of the groom.The bride's brother, Jim Haaland, served as usher, and Marty Haaland and Stephen Hall were candle-bearers,Lohengren’s Wedding March was played by Miss Shirley I-oceh at the organ, Mrs. Marie Mrughn sang Oh, Promise Me and Because. She was accompanied by Mrs. Marilyn Wyatt.The bride’s mother wore a street length gown of pink lace. The groom’s mother wore a street length suit of turquoise .’Incn, They wore shoulder corsages of white gardenias.A reception was held ,!n thechurch after the wedding. The centerpiece at the refreshment table was a white 3-tiercd wedding cake decorated with pink roses, white doves and silver lattice work. On the top tier were the traditional bride and groom figurines. The coke was made by the groom's aunt, Miss Joyce Rogers.The guest book was presided over by Linda Michel; Mrs. Hilda Unger {oured for the guests, and Miss hfciry Unger presided over the gift table.After the wedding the bride and groom left for a brief honeymoon at Glenwood Springs, Colo. They will make their home in Boulder, Colo.The bride is a graduate of Grand County High School, She has been employed at Miller’s Super Market. The groom has been employed by the Steams-Rogcr Company in Moab. He has been transferred to Boulder, Colo., where the young couple will reside.Out-of-town guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Hall and family of Bluff; Mrs. Herbert Rogers and Miss Joyce Roger*, of Cortez, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Morrill and daughter, Linda, of Van Nuys, Calif.; Mrs; Blanche Will of Van Nuys, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Haaland of San Antonio, Texas.Tumbleweed Canasta ClubThe Newcomers Tumbleweed Canasta Club met at the homo of Kay Irish with Bea Prow, Kay Watts, Nellie Beysler, Nora Gresham and Ethel Ullrich present.
