Tac-ket* in a ceremony solemnized Sunday, Aug. 28 at the Church of Christ at Worth,; gVm. The bride is the daughter of Mr and M*?. She wore 3 j gown of white chiffon over taffeta. fashioned with a fitted bodice with a scoop neckline and bracelet length sleeve.s The sweeping circle floor length skirt was I accented' with a white satin bow ■ which cascaded to the hemilne at back. Her fingertip veil of illusion was attached to a tiara of seed pearls and she wore a pearl necklace and matching earrings. She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds, baby’s breath and forg.;-me-nots on a white Bible.Miss Wilma Mizer of Terre i Haute was maid ,of honor and Mias Barbara Tackett of Worth ngton served as bridesmaid. They wore gowns of pale yellow and mint green taffeta. Their headbands were white flowered clips, trimmed with net and .they carried 1 bouquets of white carnation*Charles Vandeventor and B 11 Cobb, both of Wortnington, wcr.* the ushers.A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents at C, al City immediately following the ceremony. Miss Nelda Gaither of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Robert Mizer of Worthington presided at the bride’s table. Miss Mary Sue Miller registered the guest.-.The bride is a graduate of CoalMarco Methodist 1 Class Holds MeetingjThe Volunteer Sunday school class y;f the Marco Methodist church held its September meeting at the home of Mrs. MableLucas recently with Mrs. Ellen Wright as co-hostess.Tne meeting opened with a hymn and the devotional period, conducted by Mrs. Margie Stalling?. Members respondeo to roll call ,vi*h an early childhood memory. Mrs. Lois Brown was in charge .of the business session. A fellowship meeting was discussed and a fish fry was planned for Oct. 28. Mrs. Alice W'ines gave a reading entitled, ‘Unfinished Business” and this portion of the meeting closed’ with prayer.Games were enjoyed and prizes awarded during the social hour. Mrs. Lucas and Mrs. Wright, screed refreshments ,of crackers with I cheese, cookies, mints, coffee and tea to Shirley and Juanita Wright, guests, and Mis. Mary Boyd. Mrs. Dosha Grass. Mrs. Helen Goodwin, Mrs. Delia Chaney, Mrs. Georgia Baker, Mrs. Thelma H,*s-tetter. Mrs. June Rusher, Mrs. Carrie Campbell, Mrs. Margie S’olling, Mrs Vial Heim, Mrs. Myrtle Crane, Mrs. Lois Brown, Mrs, Myrtle Turpin, Mrs. Yvette McCombs and Mrs. Alice Wines.City High school and a business college in Louisville, Ky. The bridegroom is a graduate of Worthington-Jefferson High school and is serving with the U.S. Navy. He is stationed at Long Beach, Calif.
