'Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ward and Mrs. Pearl Roberts attended a rural mail carriers’ meeting at Guttenberg Saturday.Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eck-heart, Marion, were visitors in the Harry Crawford home over the week end.Mrs. Ruby Rodgers entertained relatives at her home Sunday.Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ward went to Cedar Rapids Monday afternoon to help Mr. and Mrs. Max Fitz celebrate their wedding anniversary. Their grandson, Dennis Fitz, came home with them to spend the week.Lorenz 'Behrens is enrollingHarlan and Norma Cole, Oel-wein, spent the week end with Mrs. Bess Seedorff.Mrs. Vera Younkman, Elkport., was a visitor in the Vane Oldfath-er home Sunday afternoon.Mr. and Mrs. Will Northrop, jr. and killy, moved Saturday from the Herbert Meisgeier farm to the Mrs. Olive Squires residence. He is employed by the Arlington Electric Service Co.Mdms. Ella Barr, H. T. Hutchison and 'Pearl Roberts visited with Mrs. Zana Rau, who is ill at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugo Scharff, at Maynard, Sunday afternoon.
