The 8:30 p.m. vows were read by the Rev. Charles McCaskey.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rosa Whitaker, Stigler, Okla., and of Cecil Whitaker, 709 E. 7th. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Taylor, Shawnee, are parents of the bridegroom.The altar of the church was adorned with an arrangementiof white gladioli and pink carnations.The bide wore a formal-length Empire gown of pale pink overlaid in white. Her long sheer sleeves were gathered to wide cuffs .A headpiece of white organdy petals centered with small pink rosebuds held the bride's veil of white organdy. She carrieda bouquet of orchids tied withpink streamers in loveknots.Mrs. Juanita Haskins, Ada, J by Allied Maintenance, Dayton was her sister’s attendant.
