Two palms, a spray basket and candles decorated the altar of Carey's Run Church of Christ for the wedding of Miss Bar bara Jo Boggs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Boggs of Dry Run, to Terry Ray Bazler. Mr. Bazler is the eldest son of Mrs. John P. Waddell of Portsmouth Rt. 1 and the late Donald Bazler. The bridegroom's stepfather, John P. Waddell, performed the double ring ceremony at 7:30 o'clock Friday evening. Presenting nuptial music was Marlon Scott, organist. Given in marriage by her brother, Edward Boggs, the bride wore a white floor-length wn and carried a cascade jaquet. Miss Sherry Ratliff served as maid of honor, wearing a blue and white floor-length gown and carrying a blue and white bou quet. Rod Bazler, brother of the bridegroom, performed the du ties of best man, while Denny Bazler, cousin of the bridegroom, and Michael McCoy served as ushers. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Boggs chose a two-piece beige suit trimmed in white and black with white accessor ies and a white carnation cor sage. Mrs. Waddell appeared at the wedding in a black princess style dress adorned in pearls, black acessories and a white carnation corsage. Following the ceremony, a reception was held family in the church parson age. Before leaving on an unan nounced wedding trip, the bride donned a white long-sleeve dress with white accessories. The new Mrs. Bazler is a 1970 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and is pres ently employed by the Sunset Drive-In Theatre. Mr. Bazler is a 1969 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and attended Ohio Uni versity Portsmouth. He is pres ently employed as a life guard by the State of Ohio.
