Rev. King SuccumbsRYDERWOOD - The Rev. J. Dean King, 75, a resident of Ryderwood for the past 10 years, died Wednesday in a Longview hospital following a lingering illness.He was born March 5, 1894, in Riley, Kan. He moved to Ryderwood after retiring from the ministry. He was'a chaplain and charter member.of World War I Barracks No. 1531, Ryderwood, and district chaplain and past chaplain for the Department of Washington, World War I Veterans, He was a member of the Methodist Church.Survivors include the widow, Millie, at home; • three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Price, Bremerton; Mrs. Milladena Wheclon, Tualatin, Ore., and Mrs. Eleanor Smith, Portland; a brother, Charles King, Amarillo, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Norma Field and. Mrs. Ruth Reisdorph, both of Amarillo, Tex., and Mrs -Helen Ward, Seattle; U'grand-c h i d r e n and six - greatgrandchildren.Services will be Sunday, 3 p.m., at the Ryderwood Community Church with the Revs. Bruce Parker and Ken Thurman officiating.
