The Rev. D. B. Martin officiated at the 7:30 ceremony before an altar decked with palms and white gladioli.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Per-Perkins Sr., Rt. 1, Huron. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Everet Shaw Sr., 529 Pearl St., Sandusky.Music was presented by Mrs. E. A. Couch and Mrs. S. R. Meade, and Mrs. William Richardson. Mrs. P. B. Martin sang.GIVEN IN marriage by her father the bride wore a floor-length gown of white embroidered organdy styled on empress lines with a fitted bodice, round neckline, and long tapering sleeves.Her veil of white silk illusion was caught to a pearl-trimmed self fabric rose. Fuji mums with fern and white rosebuds composed the bridal bouquet,and for jewel complement, the bride wore a single strand of pearls. Mrs. James Anthony fashioned the bride’s gown.Shirley Williams of Berlin Heights was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Liberty Anthony erf rural Huron and Sonja Shaw, sister of the bridegroom. They were attired in floor-length frocks of gold taffeta, designed with an embroidered panel draped to the side.JOHN Weaver of Sandusky was best man. Ushers were Roger Hanck, Jerry Shaw, brother of the bridegroom, and Jerry Wallace, nephew of the bride.A reception followed in the church social room. Hostesses were Sue Koegle, Huron; Sharmon Taylor, East Liberty; Geraldine Wallace; and Mrs. Z, 0.
