Jl mental.A very pleasant affair came off 011 the 13th of this month, last Thursday, in Chicago. The occasion was the marriage of Mr. William E. Ferris, of this city, to Miss Dora Klingenberg, of Chicago. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Ed. Klingenberg, formerly of this city, and neice of Mr. Charles Klingenberg, the well known grocer on Couler avenue. The liev. William Fawcett, late pastor of the M. E. Church of this city, but now' of Grace Church, Chicago, performed the marriage ceremony. Mr. Ferris is the bookkeeper for Schrieber, Conchar lt;fc Co. of this city, and is a most worthy young man. The bride is an amiable and accomplished young lady who has hosts of friends in this city. She was attired in a handsome white brocaded satin dress, with oriental trimmings ornamented with orange blossoms and tea roses. The groom was attired in the conventional black. The bridemaids were Miss Clara Klingenburg, sister of the bride and Miss Mary Farwell. of Dubuque. They were dressed in white swiss with oriental lace trimmings. The groomsman were Mr. Eugene Ferris, brother of the groom, and Mi. ( has. W. Farwell. A large number of friends witnessed the ceremony, and the presents were numerous and valuable. The young couple will reside in Dubuque, and tin* fullest wishes for theirprosperity from a large circle of friends will attend them.
