The bride was radiant as she came down the aisle on the arm of Dick’s son David to meet her bridegroom. Her Mary McFadden tea-length gown was peach, crystal-pleated and puffsleeved Her daughter, Maggie Johnson of Longmeadow, Mass., was the matron of honor and wore ivory, and flower-girlCatherine Steward, Dick’s 4-year-old granddaughter, wore ivory with a peach-satin sash.Dick’s best man was his son Dick.The reception at the Kissing Camels Golf Club was a seated dinner. Gorgeous nosegays of multicolored flowers dotted the swags of greens decorating the stairway to the second floor. Each table bloomed with a centerpiece of peach, pink, lavender and white posies.After dinner, the cakes were cut. Dick’s was decorated with crossed guns and plastic figures of the animals he has found all over the world as a big-game hunter. Dolores’ was covered with peach roses. The Stewards have delayed their honeymoon until the additions to their home have been completed.Special guests were Dolores’ mother, Mrs. Vandelle Beatty of White Oak, Texas; her nephew and his wife, Charles and Barbara Poncher of Chicago and Deerfield, Fla; and Dick’s father, Glenn Steward of Rocky Ford.Caroline Brown Is tho GazetteTelegraph's society columnist.
