Rev. Frank Pollard, pastor, officiated in the double ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jackson,Route 1, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Odell Thompson, 202 Apache 'Trail, all of Tulia.An arch decorated witli green cry and small bouquets, with flower baskets of blue and white flowers, flanked the arch on both sides, Two golden wedding bells tied with blue ribbon hung from the center of the arch, where the vows were read.Two seven - branched canda -labras with white tapers and bows lighted the altar. The church aisle leading to the altar was decorated with white and blue bows.Mrs. John Varncll was organist for wedding selections, and accompanied Dr. Roy Allen McCasiand, who sang “One Hand, One Heart”,Through The Years’’, and “The Lord’s Prayer.”Entering on the arm of her father, who gave her in marriage,Miss Jackson paused beside her mother to present her a single, long stemmed white rose and a kiss, on her way to the altar. At the close of the ceremony, Mrs. Thompson look the white rose from the maid of honor and paused, as they left the church, to present it to her new mother-in-law. Mrs. C. OdellThompson and bestow a kiss.The bride wore a formal lengthwedding gown of pe'audc soie with an overlay of silk organza. The empire, short sleeve bodice wasnppliqued in lace roses, outlined in seed pearls. The neckline which was accented across the front with lace, further enhanced the beauty and soft touch of the gown.
