Miss Sherry Lynn Stocking became the bride of Norman Lama*- Kline in a candlelightceremony/held, in the MayfieldFederated Church at 8 o’clock on August 30. The Rev. Gary Appleton of Troy, Kan., and Mr.Fred Stocking of Argonia, brother of the bride, officiated and read the double ring vows.Miss Stocking isjjthe daughter of Mr. and jMr«i. Homer Prather of Wellington fand thegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kline of Milan.Single brass candelabras marked the aisle leading to the altaj; which was decorated with a nine-branch brass candelabratied with white glads and blue pompon mums.Mrs. Corky Howell of Wellington was organist. She played nuptial music and accompanied Mrs. Norman Callison of Winfield as she sang.Given in marriage by her brother, Gary Stocking, wore a foimal length pnncess style A-line gown of white bridal satin featuring bands of re-embroidered Alencon lace at the hern of the1 skirt and sleeves. The long train, flowing from j the shoulders was trimmedi with the re-embroidered lace.j A crown of white, pearl I trimmed daisies held her bridalveil of silk illusion, and sheI wore a single strand of pearls.She carried an English bridal j cascade of white butterfly roses with a detachable corsage of white roses.I Miss Sheryl Meteen, Miss '' Lina Morrison and Miss Nancy I Nixon were the bride’s atten-| dants. Their fotmal iengtfi, blue | satin gowns were A-line, prin-j cess style, with short sleeves. They carried colonial bouquets of blue and white pomponmums.Misr Tammy Stocking, niece of the bride, was taper lighter, together with Marion Stocking,nephew of the bride.Miss Lisa Stocking; niece of the bride, was flower girl. She carried a small colonial bouquet of blue and white pompons.Marvin Kline of Wellington attended his brother as best man while Lowell Hermon of Olathe, Kan., and Bob Johnson of Argonia served as groomsmen. The ushers were Tom Deffenbaugh of Wellington, cousin of the groom, and Daryl Stocking of Argonia, nephewof the bride.For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Stocking chose an A-line dress of coffee brown lace with brown accessories. Mrs. Klinewore o lime green linen and lt;aqe; suit. Both mothers wore cymbidium orchid corsagesto match their suits.A reception was held immediately following the ceremony in the church hall. Mrs. Marvin Kline, Miss Bobbi Jewett and Miss Kay Stewart assisted at the reception. Miss Trlcia Branson and Miss Sarah Whaley were in charge of the guest table and Miss Karen Olson was at the guest book.Por the wedding trip to Bella Vista. Ark., the bride wore a navy cotton suit with navy and white accessories and the corsage from her wedding bouquet.
