Former Resident Becomes Bride In Temple RitesThe Salt I,ake City LDS temple j wm the scene of the wedding of former Pocateilan, Marylow Robert*. and Samuel L, Stephens, jr., both of Ogden, on Wednesday, August 17.Mrs. Stephens is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Roberts, who resided in Pocatello before moving to Ogden several years ago. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Stephens, sr., of Ogden.Robert I. Burton officiated at the single rirg ceremony.The bride wore a white slipper satin gown styled with a low waist, tight-fitting bodice, full skirt and train. The yoke of French silk lace and bodice came to points in the back and front.After the ceremony, members of the immediate families gathered in the Motel Utah for a breakfast to honor the newlyweds. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs, C. R. Balmforth of Pocatello, and Mr. and Mrs. J. C. llnlladay of Halt J»ake City, former Poeatellans Mrs Balmforth and Mrs. Hnlladay are sisters of the bridtFor her going away trip to Tel* lowstone park the bride wore an ivory stlk shantung suit with forest green accessories.The newlywed* are now at home at M.1 26th street, Ogden.The new Mr* Stephen* i* a graduate of Pocatello high school She attended Idaho State college where *hewa* affiliated with (Jam* ma Uelta (lamnia. social sorority, I'elta Kpsilon Kappa sophomore honorary; Dleta P*i Omega dramatic fraternity; Pi Tau Omega, journalism organization. Varsity Villagers, club for off-campus women; Lambda I'elta Sigma and Cadettes. She was student body treasurer in 1945. and served on the student newspaper staff. She was presented the AWS award for outstanding work in 1916. Slie has been teaching school in Ogden.Stephens is a graduate of Ogden high school, and attended Weber college where lie was active in publications work. He is owner of radio station KBl'H in Brigham City, Utah.WFP IN TEMPLEAttractive Mary loo Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.D. I* Roberts, became the bride of Samuel L. Stephens, Jr., of Ogden.
