Leora MuellerOf Elba WedTo Austin Man4Dinner Served to 40 GuestsAfter Ceremony.Elba, Minn.—(Special to The Re-publican-Herald —Before an alt ar decorated in autumn flowers the marriage of Miss Leora Mueller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mueller of Elba, and Bernard Loftus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loftus of Austin, took place at 9 a. m. Tuesday at St. Aloysiu$ church here. The Rev. Joseph Koch performed the ceremony.The bride wore a white satin floor-length gown made with a square neck and long sleeves which extended in a point over the hand. Satin buttons fastened the waist and skirt in the back and the skirt ended in a long train. The bride wore a fingertip-length veil of white net trimmed with lace, and a tiara of seed pearls with orange blossoms at either side. Her flowers were white gladioli and she wore a double-strand pearl necklace, a gift of the bridegroom.Agnes Wolff Bridesmaid.The bridesmaid, Miss Agnes Wolff, Rochester, wore a turquoise blue taffeta floor-length gown with a tiara and shoulder veil to match her dress. Her flowers were coral pink gladioli. The junior bridesmaid, Miss Ada Loftus, sister of the bridegroom, wore a pink floor-length gown of taffeta. She wore a chrysanthemum in her hair to match her dress. The bridegroom’s attendant was Cletus Mueller, brother of the bride.The bride’s mother wore a black frock with matching accessories and a lavender dahlia, a brown lace dress and a lavender dahlia weie worn by the bridegroom’s mother.A dinner was served to 40 guests at the home of the bride’s parents. The three-tier wedding cake was baked by the bride’s cousin, Miss Frances Mueller. Serving were Kthrlne Weins, Susan Tibesar, Clara Weis and Rose Marie Mueller.Guests were the Rev. JosephKoch, Mrs, Clara Mueller, Quincy; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loftus and sons James, Lloyd, William and Vincent, Austin; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Zobeck, Mr. and Mrs. Gathian Loftus and children, Elma, Iowa; Mrs. John Weis, Rochester; Mrs.! Rose Lchnertz, Plainview; Harry j Tibesar, Kellogg; Donald Mueller,1 St. Charles, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Beseke, Mr. and Mrs. Gregor Kramer and son, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wlescr and daughter Betty and son Francis, Elba.A reception was held at the Gay-mor hall at Altura in the evening.The bride is a graduate of the St. Charles High school and for the past one and one-half years has been employed at St. Mary’s hospital, Rochester. After a short wedding trip, the couple will reside on a farm near Elgin,Church School Leader to DirectConference HereMiss Elizabeth Hanson, St, Paul,director of weekday church schooland children’s work for the statecouncil of religious education, willdirect a conference for Sunday school teachers in the beginners, primary and junior departments Friday at 2 p. m. at the Evangelical church aid room in Lewiston.Miss Hanson will speak on “Teaching In a Small Sunday School,” and will place emphasis on equipment, lesson material and worship. She will show slides made from pictures of various Sunday school rooms throughout the state.Mrs. A. G. Lackore, superintendent of the children’s division of the eastern district of the Winona County Council of Religious Education, will lead during the devotional period. .Women of the Evangelical church will serve refreshments following the discussion period.The date of October 5 has been set aside for the Sunday school county convention at the Methodist church in St. Charles.TO BE GUESTS*—Mr. and Mrs. W.
