TEWELL-WERBEBeautiful Wedding of Popular Young Couple at Christ Church,A pretty wedding took place at 3o’clock Thursday evening at ChristChurch when Miss Sophie FrancesTewell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.James Tewell, of Lancaster township, became the bride of Mr. Don Carlos Werbe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Werbe, of Clifty.The ceremony was performed by Rev. Andrew Harper, of the Christ Episcopal Church. The beautiful and impressive ring ceremony was used. Miss Ida Brain well and Carl Cline were their attendants.The bride looked charming in blue and white and carried a shower bouquet of bride roses. The groom wore dark blue and Miss Ida Bram-well wore white organdy and lace.Following the ceremony they left for the bride’s home where a wqd-xsding supper was served.The newly married couple was the recipient of many handsome presents.Miss Fewell is a social favorite in her neighborhood and has a host of friends. Mr. Werbe is a young man of sterling qualities and one of our prosperous farmers.Returning they will be at home at Clifty where Mr. Werbe has furnished a pretty cottage for his bride.A rousing charivari was tendered them.
