Byron Bryant of Hamlin, Tex,, performed the ceremony at an altar enhanced with three tiers of candles banked with greenery and two baskets filled with white gladioli, A prayer bench completed the setting.Hurley Perry of Abilene was the pianist and soloist was Margaret Anderson of FortWorth. Selections Included Bless This HouseM and The Lord's Prayer.MThe bride, given in marriage by her uncle, R. o. Thompson of Lake Jackson, wore a gownof peau de sole faille fashioned in an A-line princess silhouette.The bodice was designed with a sabrina neckline, seU yoke with a bust-line bow, and sleeves ending in wide ruffles of Alencon lace at the elbow. The lace nifftes were repeated at the bottom of the floor-length skirt.The bride's fingertip vellof illusion was attached to a pearl-studded tiara. She carried a two-toned pink nosegay of feathered carnations.Gary Green of Fort Worth was the best man. Jimmy Wal -lace of Fort Worth, brother-in-law of the groom; and J. E, Perry of Abilene, uncle of the bride, were the ushers.The bride's mother wore a dress ot striking pink silk with a matching hat. Her other accessories were brown. The mother of the groom chose a beige brocade suit with bone accessories.Fellowship Halt at the church was the setting for the reception following the ceremony. The table was covered with a white organdy cloth accented with an nppllqued seal-oped border.White candles held by two sterling sliver holders, and the bride's Bible and bouquet completed the table's decor.
