The bridesmaids were Miss Alice Bishop, sister of the bridegroom, ami' Miss Elizabeth Ainsworth. the bride's sister. Mr. L. Black acted as best man. and Mr. O. Bishop as groomsman. The newly-wedded couple will honeymoon in Brisbane and Sydney.In an appreciative referenee to the M'isses Lena and Margaret Chisholm, well-known musicians, which appeared in Thursday’s “ Northern Star,” these talented young ladies arc referred to as the daughters of Mr. H. Ryan.At seven o’elock on Thursday night at St. Mark's Church of England, Casino, Richard William Harold Fowler, second sqn of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fowler, of Exeter, was married to Ros-ina Kate Doris, second daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. W. G. Johnston, of Casino. The church was beautifully decorated by the girl friends of the bride. Canon G. P. M. Ware performed the eeremouy. The bride, who was attended by Miss Isabel V. Gregory as bridesmaid, was charmingly attired In satin georgette, trimmed with silver roses and orange blossoms; the train, which bung from the shoulders, was lined with pink, and was caught up with orange blossoms. The veil worn by the bride was lent by her cousin, M.rs. Piekford, of Hurstville. .She also carried a bouquet of rock lilies and hyacinth, with tulle streamers. The bridesmaid's dress was mauve taffeta, and she also wore a black lace hat and carried a bouquet designed in the shaps of a horseshoe, of pink sweet peas, with tulle streamers. Mr. Cyril Croker filled the role of best man. At the conclusion of the ceremony a crowded reception wjis held iu the Commercial Hotel, where quite a hundred must have been present. The usual toasts wore honored. The happy couple left by motor for Lismorc en route for Brisbane.
