Broke th e Record.♦Mr. Fred. T. Bette, of the Church Green, took a ride yesterday for the first time, on the trolley, to Boton Point. From thence he was safely navigated over to Smith’s Island, where hip children, grandchild, and Mr. and Mrs. John S. Seymour, Miss Welton, Senator Holden, and other friends, cordially received him.
