ONE of the lovliest weddings of the season took place last Saturday evening in the Church of the Holy Comforter when Miss Dorothy Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taylor, Jr., was married to Walter Blakesley Gerould, son of Mrs. Frank Wheelock Gerould of Ev-anston. Rev. Edwards of Lake Fof-Lest officiated.The bride wore a gown of white ( satin and beaded chiffon with a full ^ court train. Her tulle veil was held ( in place by a wreath of orange bloss-oms and she carried white roses and lillies of the valley. Mrs. Frank Avery Gerould of New York who attended , her sister as matron of honor wore j a gown of lavendar chiffon over flesh colored chiffon and she carried yellow roses and blue larkspur. Miss Ruth Woodward, as maid of honor wore apple green chiffon and carried butter- N fly roses and blue larkspur. The four 1 bridesmaids, Mrs. -N. Landon Hoyt, I / Jr., Mrs. Leon Thomas Ellis, Miss 1 Catherine Slater, and Miss Margaret cTaylor were gowned alike in pink f chiffon and carried arm bouquets of t pink roses and larkspur. Wendell |( Clark served Mr. Gerould as best man t and the ushers were Leon Thomas Ellis, Landon N. Hoyt, Jr., Harris Wilder of Elmhurst and Vincent Taylor. After a honeymoon in the . est.
