Clinton Gay lard went to Ames Friday to continue Ins work in tho State Agricultural college.Wade Davenport went to Davenport Friday wehre he has secured a position.Dr. Bert Joynt came up from Des Moines Wednesday evening for a visit with his parents.John Lynch and Miles Meelmn went to St. Paul Wednesday for a short visit.More than ever we appreciate the fact that Columbus discovered America. If he had not we might all be in Europe now.Miss Ro.sc Laughlin went to Bode Friday to nurse a patient. Miss Laughlin is a competent nurse and is kept busy.Mrs. Ed Merriman who has been here with her mother, Mrs. E. E. Hughes was at her lump in Gi-acttin-gcr Friday.Miss Irene McBride and little brother left Monday for Coner de Alene, Idaho. Their mother be* been there for Bomc time.Robt Dooley jr. who had been visiting relatives here for some time left Friday for his home at Ft. Worth, Texas.Lee and Williams have opened a photo gallery in the rooms in the second story of the Marks huilding on South Broadway. They began work Sntur-dsy and will probably be here a few months.Louis Anderson returned to his home at Ruthven Wednesday and brought his bride with him. She wns Miss R.ith Nelson of New York City and they were married in Chicago and came to Ruthven to visit his parents.Mr. and Mrs. A. J.
