Wedding vows were exchanged between Laura Leigh Osborn and Shaun ‘Thomas Laslie on May 18, 2002, at the Alton First Southern Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenneth Morgan per formed the 2 p.m. ceremony. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their par ents, Gayle and Vicki Osborn and Barbara Laslie, all of Godfrey, received guests at a reception at the Family Center of the church .A member of the 1997 class of Alton High School, the bride was employed by Dr. William Heintz, until her marriage The bridegroom, son of the late David Laslie,graduated in 1997 from Alton High School. He attended St. Louis University and Lewis and Clark Community College and is a 2000 graduate of Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and Keasler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss. He is with the air traffic control at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knobnoster, Mo. For her attendants the bride selected Crystal Edwards as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Gerdes and Julie Clasby. Members of the groom's wedding party were Chad Woodman as best man and David Laslie, brother of the groom, and Joseph Osborn, brother of the bride, were groomsmen. Ryan Woodman and Chris Roberts served as ushers. After a honeymoon to the Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple returned to Knobwoster where they will reside.
