Christine Hoeing becomes bride of Mark McKnightMr. and Mrs. Mark McKnightChristine Ann Hoeing and Mark Ellis McKnight were united in marriage September 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Mary Catholic Church. Father William Cleary officiated at the double-ring ceremony.Christine is the daughter of Marvin Hoeing and the late Mildred Hoeing R.R. 7, Box 183, Rushville.Mark is the son of Mr. William H. and Pattie Tovey.The Ed Staubach quartet, Indianapolis provided music for the wedding. Mrs. Andrew Ariens, Rushville was organist and Mr. Jeff Hufford and Mrs. Dan Lacy, both of Rushville were vocalists.The bride wore her mother’s wedding dress of blush satin with scooped neckline, fitted bodice and sleeves which ended at chapel points. The full skirt was floor length with built in chapel length train. The scooped neckline was edged with a wide band of alencon lace festooned with seed pearls. She also wore her mother’s headpiece of blush beading in a circlet cap with illusion veiling falling to chapel length.Mrs. Marsha Daugherty, Indianapolis was matron of honor.Mrs. Gretchen Cave, Indianapolis; Mrs. Cindy Sickbert, Rushville; Mrs. Susan Newton, Terre Haute; Mrs. Jeanne Lacy, Rushville; and Miss Jennifer Franklin, Fairmount were all bridesmaids.Lt. Malcolm K. Wallace, Fayetteville; Lt. Jeff Newsome, Fayetteville; Mr. John Gettinger, Merom; Mr. Bill Smith, Terre Haute; Mr. Steve Sobech, McAllen, TX; and Mrs. Joe True, Indianapolis served as attendants for the groom.Ushers were Lt. John Hannah and Lt. Dan Reid, both of Fayetteville.Miss Erin Daugherty, Indianapolis was flower girl, and Master Doug Lacy, Rushville was ring bearer.Grandmothers of the couple in attendance were Mrs. Marie Meyer, Rushville; Mrs. Agnes Hoeing, Greensburg; Mrs. Fern Johnson, and Mrs. Catherine Tovey, both of Bedford.A reception was held in the Crystal Affair/Mecca Rooms, Rushville. Abuffet banquet followed with a dance. The reception hostesses were Ms. Ann Michal, Miss Mary Morgan, Mrs. Jane Hall, Mrs. Sue Wiggens all of Indianapolis.A rehearsal dinner was held at the Elk’s Country Club on Friday evening hosted by the groom’s parents.After a wedding trip to Charleston, South Carolina, the couple are at home at 422C Acacia Circle, Fayt-teviUe,N.C. 28304.The bride is a graduate ofRushville Consolidated High School and Indiana State University. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She is now a registered nurse employed at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville.The groom is a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School and Indiana State University. He is a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He is presently a first lieutenant in the United States Army serving with the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
