Vitek Wed In Home CeremonyOnly members of the families and intimate friends were present when Judy Lee Clark and John Richard Vitek were married at 2 o'clock on the afternoon of September 4 in the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Varnum E. Clark, 643 Alta Loma drive.The bridegroom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Vitek of Muskegan Heights, Mich., came to Redlands for the wedding as did his sister, Sandy Vitek, Dale Clark, brother of the bride, greeted the guests on their arrival.Urns filled with ferns were placed at either side of the gold-and-white kneeling bench before the fireplace where the couple exchanged vows and wedding rings. Cone-shaped arrangements of ivy on the mantle, from Which/ swags of ivy trailed formed a background for the ceremony.Rev. Wendell Wollam, associate pastor of the First Presbyterian church, was the officiating minister.; The bride, attended only by tier sister, Mrs. Gary Forsythe (Susan Clark), wore her sister’s wedding dress which had been made by Mrs. RobertKahl. Of white peau de soie, it was designed with long sieves and fitted skirt with chapel train. Seed pearls encircled the waistline. A pillbox type headpiece with pearl trim held her fingertip length veil arid her flowers were white and yellow roses with stephanotis, placed on a white Bible.For jewelry, the bride wore a strand of pearls with matching earrings, gifts from thebridegroom.Mrs. Forsythe was dressedin poudre blue, Empire style and street length, with matching accessories. Her flowers were six long-stemmed yellow roses.Best man for the bridegroom was Camille Nobile of San Bernardino, dean of boys at Golden Valley Junior High school.The bride’s eight-year-old sister, Barbara, played the wedding march on the organ as the bridal party entered. Mrs. Donald- Vieten played the accompaniment for the soloist, Robert Kahl.Serving during the reception following the ceremony were Mrs. William Remus and Mrs. Joseph Malone, aunts of thebride, and Mrs. Kahl. SandyVitek, Sharon Malone, cousinsof the bride, and Patsy Kase-mutt, AFS student yearfrom Thailand, received thegifts and Sandine Serangeli handled the guest book.Candelabra which had beengifts to the Clarks* neighbors,Mr. and Mrs. Fred Huffman,on their 50th wedding anniversary were loaned for use on the reception table.The bridal couple planned to spend their honeymoon in the Mission Bay area and will make their home in Highland at 27145 East 21st street.The bride, a RegisteredNurse, has been employed in the offices of Dr. C. H. Bazuin in Redlands for the past two years. She is a graduate of the San Bernardino Valley Collegeschool of nursingl The bridegroom, who teaches at Sturges Junior High school in San Bernardino, holds B,A. and M.A.degrees from Western Michigan University. lt;
