Roberta Denny Weds Robert J. CopelandMaking their home in San Luis Obispo are newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Robert John Copeland who repeated their marriage vows at All Saints Episcopal Church in Oxnard The Rev John Fuller performed the noon double-ringceremonvThe bride, the former Roberta Jane Denny, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Denny of Oxnard. She isa Hueneme High School alumna. She also was graduated from Ventura College and is attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she is a member of the university’s Rodeo Club and Alpha Gamma Phi Majoring in biological sciences, she is employed in the university’s veterinary clinic and is also the owner of Duster's Kennels in San Luis ObispoThe groom, son of Mr and Mrs. John Copeland of Grenada, has a B S. from Cal Poly. He majored in animal science and is currently employed by Pinkerton’s guard service in San Luis ObispoThe bride was escorted to the altar by her father She wore a dress and hat designed and made by her mother. The 18thcentury ensemble was of nylon eyelet with a polyester satin overlay. The hat was accented with chiffon flowers and an elbow-length tulle veil. She carried white orchids with miniature yellow roses resting on a white Bible.Wearing a sleeveless gown ofJricot polyester with a jacketcrepe was maid of honor, Miss Lois E. Denny, the bride’s sister from Oxnard. Miss Georgia Love of Newhall and Miss Carla Evans of Huntington Beach wore green and yellow gowns, respectively, for their bridesmaids’ duties. All the bride’s attendants carriedcnnia rnc/xiWilliam Copeland of Grenada was his brother’s best man. Seating guests were Glenn Denny of Oxnard and Ben Copeland of Grenada, brothers of the couple.Matthew Smith of San Luis Obipso was ring bearer. Jennifer Mezey of Oxnard was flower girl.A reception followed in the parish hall.
