ItIMedin Brothers Are Married—Kenneth D. Medin, son of Mr. and [Mrs. S. A. Medin here, was married September l to Pauline Elizabeth Milby, Buffalo. K\, in a single-ring ceremony at the home of the, bride’s mother, Mrs. Willard Connor, Buffalo, the Rev, O. Overlie,Baptist minister, officiating. j The bride was attired in a light blue wool crepe traveling suit with t dark blue accessories, and her cor-1 sage was of white roses, blue del- •phlrilunis, and baby's breath. She was attended by Martha Hanshald-er, TVest Lafayette, Ohio, who wore navy blue crepe with matching cic-cessorles.The. bridegroom was attended by; an unde of the bride, R. A. Milby, Williamson, W, Va.Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served to the immediate relatives. The Sam Medinaand Mrs. Jesse Wiley were present from here.The bridegroom is a graduate ofthe local high school, also of the 1 Iowa State college, Ames, where he was affiliated with the Farmhouse fraternity and was an honorary member of Alpha Zeta.» TJ® brlde ls a graduate of theBuffalo high school, she also attended Iowa State college. Tho couple are now at home at Estherville where the bridegroom Is assistant buttermalcer in a creamery.Carl Donald Medin, another son of Mr. and Mrs. S. A, Medin, and Nadine Lorraine Schmidt, of Fort! Dodge, were married in a candlelight ceremony September 5 at tho! Second Christian church, Ft. Dodge ‘the Rev, I. E. Linkletter performing a single-ring service. Follow-mg the ceremony, Harold Reeves sang a tonor solo, and Nadine Tro-yak played the recessional.The bride wore white lace over satm fashioned in princess style with the floor, length hern ending in a junior train. Her fingertip veil was of tulle, caught into a cap by a coronet braid formed of lace and white rosebuds. She carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley, white roses, and orchids,Mrs. Leroy Ehmsen, sister of the bride, matron of honor, wore a gown of yellow mousseline-de-soie, and carried a bouquet of token roses. The bridesmaids, Mary Jane n Jaherty and Margaret Paula, Ontario, Calif., wore gowns of bluemousseline-de-soie, and their arm ibouquets were of Roosevelt roses.!Kenneth Medin, brother of thej bridegroom, was best man, and the ushers were Howard and Russell Medin, Algona, also brothers of the bridegroom.After the ceremony, a receptiontook place at the home of thebride's parents. Later the newly-weds left for Mason City wherethey will make their home. Mrs.Medin s going away costume wasof black crepe with white accessor-ies.The bride is a graduate of Grant high school, Fort Dodge and the bridegroom was graduated from the ,“5? college, Ames, where he was affiliated with the Farmhouse ag-n cultural fraternity, Alpha Zeta and Gamma Sigma Delta. He is now associated with the extensionstaff of the college.Attending from Algona were Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Medin, Mr. and Mrs.Jesse Willey, Mr. and Mrs. W. H.B e eh, daughter Joan. Marjorie Phillips, Ellen Sluessy, and Lyle Raney.Sam Medin, father of the two bridegrooms, has been a local milkman for the- last 20 years.
