Sohamitz-DeIagarlt;3k}Jl©-—'The marriage of Miss Susan Delagardelle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Del-agardelie, to Lawrence Schmitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Schmitz, La Porte City, was solemnized at St. Mary's church this morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. Father Maurus Fherle pronouncing the nuptial mass. Miss Agatha Schmitz, the groom's sister, was honor maid. Leo Delagardelle. brother of the bride, served as best man.Sixty guests were entertained at breakfast in the Delagardelle home after the ceremony. This evening in St. Mary’s hall at Gilbertville, Mr. and Mrs. Schmidtz will receive about 375 relatives and friends at a reception and dance. They will make their home on a farm near La Porte City .after Oct. 1.
