RUNNER—HALGUENThe marriage of Miss Christel E. Runner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morton E. Iiunner, to Mr. Ross M. Halgren, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Halgren was solemnized at the home of the bride, Fairview Farm, Saturday September the eighth at three o’cloek, in the presence of the immediate relatives and four college friends.The home was very prettily decorated with autumnal flowers, there being a bower of asparagus fern and goldenrod, beneath which the bride and groom stood during the impressive ring service which was read by the Reverend John E. McCloud,of Williams port, former pastor of the Oxford Methodist church.The bride gowned in dainty white net, carrying a shower boquet of white asters and snapdragons came unattended to the strains of Mendles-sohnis wedding march which was played softly throughout the service byMiss Georgia Whittier of Attica. After congratulations a two course luncheon was served.In the early evening the bride and groom left on their ^wedding tour to Niagara Falls and other points in the ea'St.Both young people are well known here, having graduated from the Oxford High School. Mrs. Halgren is also a graduate of Rockford College, Rockford, 111. Mr. Halgren a graduate of Wabash College.They have many friends who wish them a long and happy married life.Mr. and Mrs. Halgren will be at home to their friends after October 1 in Oxford.
