* * *Hammon-Bates.Tuesday afternoon at one thirty, Rev. \V. \\ . l,a%ce, pastor of the St. Paul’s Methodist cliurch, solemnized the marriage of Miss Clara Bates and Mr, John Mammon of Jewell, tlie ceremony tak~ ing place at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Harriet Hates.Tuesday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Hannnon were the guests of lion or at a reception given at thehome of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. C.\\\ Palmer of fewell, at whichtwo hundred people were in attendance.Mr. and Mrs. Hanimon have expensed with a wedding .rio and have gone to housekeeping upon the groom’s farm.
