General Notes.The 0. B. Green sent her steam-pipe to Green Bay on Sunday for repairs. She was laid up a day or two in consequence.The steamb^rge Minnie will arrive here from Green Bay next Saturday with 200 tons of coal for use as fuel on thetugO.B. Green. IThe tug Lawrenoc, with a scow in tow, i made tho round trip to Chicago and return, last week, in three days and twenty-two hours.. The tug Kitty Smoke lost a raft of logs off Fish Creek last week. She picked up most of them again. The raft was being taken to the upper mill here.The tug Leathern left here on Sunday night for the west shore with a scow loaded with lumber, ready for framing, for Leathern Smith’s new mill.The squall last Saturday afternoon was the severest of the season. It no doubt did some injury to shipping inasmuch as the storm came up so suddenly.The tug Leathern took two scow loads of stone aggregating 105 cords to Escanaba last Thursday night from Laurie’s quarry. The stone is used on the new court house at that place.
