Adaline Frelinghuysen weds W. Blair Meyer Jr.STOCKBRIDGE — The marriage of Miss Adaline Have-roeyer Frelinghuysen to William Blair Meyer Jr. took place Saturday in St. Paul’s Church.The bride, who will keep her maiden name, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter H.B. Frelinghuysen of Morristown, N.J., and Stockbridge. Her father, a Republican, represented New Jersey’s 5th District in the House of Representatives, from 1953 to 1975.Mr. Meyer, known as Blair, is the son of Mrs. Sandra Payson and William Blair Meyer, both of New York, and a grandson of Charles Shipman Payson of Falmouth Foreside, Maine, a retired industrialist, and the late Mrs. Joan Whitney Payson, who was owner of the New York Mets baseball team.The ceremony was performed by the Rev, G. Douglas Krumb-haar. He was assisted by the bride’s uncle, Retired Bishop Anson Phelps Stokes of Massachusetts, and by the Rev. Theodore Evans.Mrs. Beatrice van Roijen was matron of honor for her sister, Other attendants were Mrs. Joan M. Dana and Miss Averil P. Meyer, sisters of the bridegroom; Mrs. Barrett Frelinghuysen, Ms. Frances Conklin, Ms. Susan H. Logan and Ms. Kathryn McGraw. The bride also was attended by Elizabeth B. Frelinghuysen, Theodora A. van' Roijen and Cyrus T. Frelinghuysen. Geoffrey R. Hoguet was bestman.The bride, a graduate of the Madeira School, attended Sarah Lawrence College. She was named for her paternal grandmother, the late Adaline Have-meyer Frelinghuysen, daughter of Henry 0. Havemeyer, the su-ger refiner.She is a granddaughter also of the late Peter H.B. Frelinghuysen of Morristown, who was a banker, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Procter of Palm Beach, Fla., and Stockbridge. Her maternal grandfather was in the investment business. The bride is a great-great-grand-daughter of Frederick T. Frelinghuysen, secretary of state under President Chester A. Arthur,Mr. Meyer, an alumnus of the Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs, the postgraduate . program of the American School in Switzerland and the University of Pennsylvania, received a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is with the corporate coverage group at Salomon Brothers. His father is secretary-treasurer of the Cofd Meyer Real Estate Development Co,The bridegroom is a grandson also of Mrs. Cord Meyer of North Hampton, N.H., and Naples, Fla., and the late Mr. r Meyer, who headed the Cord Meyer Co., which was founded by the bridegroom’s great- £ great-grandfather. Another ^ great-great-grandfather, John v Hay, was secretary of state un- T der Presidents William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt.
