Mr, and Mrs. Glenn Earle prancq live at Emporia after their recent wedding in the, Vin-land United Methodist Church.The bride is the former Carole Ann Sturdy, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Woodrow Sturdy, Rt. 3, Baldwin. A 1968 graduate of Baker University, she earned a master of library science degree from Kansas State Teachers College in 1969 and is assistant librarian at the College of Emporia.Mr. Franeq. son of Mr, and Mrs. Renna Franeq of Baldwin, received his bachelor of science degree from Baker University in 1969 and now is a graduate student in biology at KSTC.The Rev. Charles I. Goldsmith officiated for the double ring ceremony at their wedding Aug. 17. Decorations featured large bouquets of emerald and fashion fern. Nuptial music was'i ■ • j ■played by Anne Lgwson, pianist.The bride’s gown of bonded crepe was fashioned With a front panel and sleeves of lace, with lace ruffling accenting! the train. The stand-up collar iftatch-ed the plain band which held her shoulder-length veil. Her -flown ers were spider chrysanthe mums 'and philodendron in a cascade arrangement.The bride was attended by Mary Lou Zeilef of Topeka, whose dress of pale green bonded crepe was A-line style, with green ruffling and velvet rib bon trim,Larry Franeq of Baldwin was best man for his brother. The bride’s brother, David Sturdy, and Gene Trybom, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, were-ushers.The flower girl was the bride’s niece, Kathy Sturdy, who was dressed in pale green crepe. Ronnie Sturdy, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.Assistants at the reception in the church social room- were Miss Alice Creveling and Miss, Jean Ford, both of Emporia; Mrs. Melvin Johnson of Creston, Iowa, Mrs. David Sturdy and Mrs. Gene Trybom, I,.
