(From a Correspondent.) ANNOTT BAY, Saturday.—A very pretty Wedding was solemn ized in the St. James Church of this town on Thursday, 7th iust at 4.30 p. m. when Mahabir Maragh, East Indian was joined in wed lock to Bagwendia. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. J. Graham, B.A., Rector of the Church. The Choir turned out to honour the con tracting parties. Mr. George Helps of the Half- Way Inn acted as groomsman, while Mrs. Lowe, of the Public Hospital assisted by two pretty little flower girls, filled the role of bridesmaid. At 4.30 p. m. the bride attired in a dress of white satin, entered the Church leaning on the arm of Mr. H. E. Vernon, J.P., who gave her away, the Choir render ing “The Voice that Breathed O’er Eden.” In the sacred edifice were friends and well-wishers from all parts of the island, including the Hon. K. V. Abendana, M. L. C. of Portland, Messrs, W. D. Soutar and S.S. McCluer of Kingston, Dr., Mrs. and Miss Lescene, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Campbell, Mr. R. H. Ni colas, Mr. Everard DeLisser (High gate), Mr. L. G. Nash, Pt. Maria, Mr. L. B. Spence, Richmond, Messrs. Livingston and Aarony of the Collectorate, Sergeant Major Spencer, Mr. J. P. Parboosing, Highgate, Mr. J. BE. Suragh, Mrs. W. T. Graham, Miss B. EB. Ranger, Mrs. Purcell, Mrs. Josephs, Mr. Mrs. Sawyers, Mr. and Mrs. Pot tinger, Mr. Chas. Lee Choy and many others. The reception was held at the home of the bridegroom, where a number of felicitous speeches were delivered.
