Kandice Gardner Is a BrideA home in West Los Angeles awaits Rainer Otto and his bride, the former Kandice Gardner, who are honeymooning in Hawaii following their marriage Saturday at 1 p.m.Downey Memorial Christian Church was the setting for the nuptials. Drs. Arthur Coc and Richard Foster conducted the rites for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Gardner of San Mateo, and the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jnergen Otto of Downey. Immediately following the rites, a reception was given at the home of the bridegroom's parents.When Kandice walked to the altar with her father, she was c'ressed in a white satin polyester gown with an organza overlay. The Victorian style dress featured long sleeves, a V-shaped lace inset on the bodice front and back, and lace appliques on the skirt.The bride carried a bouquet of white phaiaenopsis orchards, stepiianolis and lilies of the valley.Laura Gardner, the honor attendant for her sister, wore a floral print gown in shades of yellow, orange and pink. She carried yellow marigolds, daisies and pink and white elegance.Similar gowns and flowers were chosen by bridesmaidsPatti Otto, the bridegroom’s sister, and Shelly Black.Dock Sellars stood with. Rainer as best man. Frank Otto, his brother, shared ushering duties with James Kea-tley.The newlyweds are both graduates of UCLA where the bridegroom earned both hisbachelor's and master's degrees in engineering. Before entering college, Kandice attended Hillsdale High School and Rainer wasenrolled at Pius X High Schooi in Downey. He belongs to Triangle Fraternity, and she is affiliated with Alpha Gamma Delta Sororitv.
