FostersAnniversary*Mr. and Mrs. Harry M.wFoster, former residents ofArcadia, celebrated their72nd wedding anniversary last week.The afternoon party, attended by family and friends, was held in the dining Hospital of the Extended Care Unit of Inter-Community Hospital in Covina where the Fosters have been living since December of 1970.They were married on Aug. 27. IK99. at the farm house of Mrs. Foster’s parents who lived near Esline, Iowa. Rut they chose Sept. 7. Mr. Foster's 93rd birthday, for a combined hi rthday-anni versa ry celebration. Cora Fosterwill be 88 on Oct. 16.Mr. Foster was In the building trades for many years prior to coming to California in 1946.The couple have four children. Mrs. H.A. Steffan of Arcadia; Mrs. T. T. Foster of Silver City, N.M.; Mrs. Carl Nichols of Arcadia, and Mrs. Derby Brown of Simi. A fifth child, Rufus Foster, is deceased. There are five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
