Mattie Lee Turner Weds Claude RoeThe marriage of Mrs. Mattie ( Lee Turner and Mr. Claude Roe ( was solemnized at the Methodist Church in Bertram at 6:00 j ] o’clock Sunday evening, Sep- I ‘ tember 8th, with Rev. Jerome Duderstadt. pastor of the church 'Ireading the marriage vows.Altar decorations were can-delabras with white candles'1and palms. j1The nuptial music was furnished by Mrs. Charles Barton, 1 soloist and Mrs. Wayne Perry ' organist. iThe bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Shell of Ber- , tram. She chose for her wedding a two piece suit of azure blue1 silk and white hat and gloves. Her corsage was white carnations.Mrs. Vernon Wood of Austin was her sister’s matron of honor. Mr. Vernon Wood of Austin served as best man. !The bridegroom, a retired construction engineer, has lived at Bertram for two and one-half years. The couple will reside in Bertram.
