Miss Ace is Bride Of Robt. GarrettMiss Barbara Ace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Ace, of Albany, and Robert Jefferson Garrett, II, were married Saturday, September 6, in St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. G, Ralph Madson, rector, offlciatftig.White gladioli and burning candies were used in the decorations Mrs Elia Meadors, organist, played the bedding music.The bride's only attendant was Miss Sue Garrett, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a floor-length rir£fcs of pink net and brocaded satin, with pink shoulder length veil which fell from a coronet of pink ostrich tips She carried an old-fashioned nosegay of pink and white asters tied with pink and blue ribbons.Van Simpson, of Jacksonville, was best manThe lovely brunette bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a wedding gown of white marquisette with three-quarter length veil held to tyer hair with a coronet of white ostrich tips. She carried a prayer book topped with a white orchid Reception Immediately after the ceremony Mr and Mrs. Ace entertained at an informal reception. The bride's table, overlaid with a lace cover, held a three-tiered wedding cakeMrs. George Joiner kept the bride’s book and Mrs. Joiner and Miss Shirley Giddens assisted in entertaining.Mrs. Ace wore for her daughter’s wedding a gray gabardine suit with black hat and accessories and gardenias. Mrs. R. J. Garrett, mother of the bridegroom, wore an aqua gown with black hat and accessories and gardenias.After the reception Mr Gar rett and his bride left for ashort wedding trip. They willspend a few weeks here whileMr Garrett is serving as assistant manager of the local Crest store. They plan to go later to ^Omega, where he is in charge of the Crest storeThe bride, only daughter of her parents, graduated last Junefrom Albany high school The bridegroom is a graduate of.Albany high school and for some time has been connected with the Crest Stores.Out-of-town guests here forgia School of Technology,ta, and fs a member of the Phgsq* Delta Theta fraternity.
