Wedded. jJohn C. Totten, formerly of Kentucky i and Mrs. Ella Sturgeon, of Leavenworth jwere united in marriage at the home of j the groom’s mother. Mrs. Margaretta I Totten, near Riddle, on Sunday, September 7, 1913. at about 2:00 p. m. Rev j Henry W. Wright, of Grantsburg, performed the ceremony, and also gave an interesting and appreciative talk for the occasion based upon the 22 Chap. of St Matthew 1-14. An invitation was extended to all and about seventy persons were present. Good singing with organ accompaniment lent charm to the evening air, after which a bounteous table was spread and every body invited to fall in and help themselves. After supper the crowd dispersed for home leaving with the newiy made couple their j congratulations and earnest hope that they may have a long, prosperous and happy sailing through life together.
