Neoga, for the 3 p.m. Aug. 26 wedding of Miss Judy Hartke and Glenn Miller.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James B. Hartke of Neoga and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Miller of Denver. Colo.Rev. David Peters officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Miss Valrie Voris. guitarist, played and sang “Wedding Prayer.” “Of My Hands.” and “Love One Another.” Mrs. Agnes Voris played the organ and Miss Voris played the guitar and sang “PanisAngelica.”Given in marriage by her father and escorted by her grandfather. Henry Parker,the bride entered the church wearing a gown of white-silk organza with three-dimensional venise lace. The gown featured a square-bateau neckline, full-sheer bishop-sleeves. a fitted empire waistline and a gathered skirt that continued into a full-chapel train.Her veil was a full-length mantilla veil trimmed in lace.It was secured by a caplet trimmed with five white baby rosebuds. She carried a colonial bouquet of white sweetheart roses, miniature carnations, baby s breath and lavendar flowers with a detachable lavender orchid Cindi Lewis served as maid of honor. She wore a gown of lavender organza with two rows of ruffles accenting the scoop neckline and complimenting the full sleeves. Ivory lace with lavender ribbon trimmed the slightly gathered empire waijt. She carried a basket of pink, lavender and white carnations, miniature carnations, pink rosebuds and babv*s breath with matching streamers Her headpiece was made of pink rosebuds,lavender and white miniaturegiven}carnations and baby’s breath. i Angela Krikie. niece of the 1bride, was the flower girl. :Rob Stewart of Chicago served as best man. Ken Krikie. brother-in-law of the « bride, and Jeff Larrick were ushers. IThe bride’s mother wore a lavender and purple dress with a purple coat and match- Iing accessories. The bride- Igroom’s mother wore an ivory sleeveless dress with matching accessories. They both Iwore white cymbidium orchids with lavender ribbons. 1 Following the wedding, dinner was served in the church basement. Following the dinner, a wedding dance was held at Neoga’s Jennings Park. Mrs. Pam Krikie. sister € of the bride, was in charge of the guest book Miss Pat {Hughes and Wilma Anderson served the punch and cake.Miss Terry Proctor. Miss Lita Albrecht and Miss Becki sKoons. cousin of the bride, jpresided at the gift table and vMiss Connie Hartke was in scharge of the rice bags. iAfter the rehearsal, the cparents of the bridegroom 1hosted a cookout at the home tof the bride. eThe bride’s travel array consisted of a cream lace, long-sleeved blouse with ^brown 'weed corduroy slacks.The new Mrs. Miller is a c1970 graduate of Neoga High sSchool. She is a junior at the j.University of Illinois. The abridegroom was graduated by (()Cherry Creek High School. Denver. Colo., in I960 He ^received a degree in aero- pnautical engineering from the j,University of Illinois. He userved one year in the Navy tiand was an ensign He is now eworking part time at Tucker's a66. but will return to school t!this fall.
