The groom is a son of Mr. andMrs; Lewis/Schmidt of Strawberry Point, he was a member of Co. K., 357th Infantry, being wounded Oct. 23, 1918 in battle at the Argonne Forest; six months^ of his yea-ris service in the army being in overseas duty. He is well known in this vicinity and universally regarded as a trustworthy, efficient young farmer.Immediately after th i wedding dinner the bride -and groom left for ashort visit with relatives' in -tjio western part of the state.
