Thursday evening. September 9. at v the German Baptist church, was cele- ^ brated the wedding of Miss Amanda Holezen and Diedrick Sprock, Rev. Mr. Hoelzen, pastor of the church and ^ father of the bride, officiating tit the ^ ceremony. The young couple were at- t: tended by Arthur Schwerin and Walter t Gerdes and the Misses Minnie Hoelzen ' end Lillie Schmidt. A quartet, consisting of Will Schulz, Fred Lohmann, Henry Fromm and Herman Schulz, r gave the air from Lohengrin and the J grand organ softly acompanied the i service. A reception took place at the \ home of the bride on Griswold street, lt;which was attended by many relatives 1 and friends. An elegant supper was served, and the young couple were the recipients of many handsome and use- 1ful presents. They have gone to tho west for a brief tour, and will be at 1 home to their friends in afew weeks at the home of the bride's parents on Griswold street.
