An invitation to attend the wedding at 7 p.m. Sept. 13 of John Jeffery Harrington and Debra Lynn at the First Baptist Church, Macoubrie, was read by Mrs. Swingle. Harrington is a son of Mrs. W. H. Harrington, chapter member.Mrs. Kenneth Welch, Dallas, Tex., the former Miss Susan Joines, daughter of Mrs. Billy Joines, also a chapter member, was presented a wedding gift during Mrs. Welch’s recent visit at the home of her parents.The Sept. 23 meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Swingle, Route 1.
