W. J. Williams of Drexel, N. C., on Saturday, Sept. 5, 1959, in the chapel of the Wallace Memorial United Presbyterian Church in Hyatts-ville, Md, The double-ring ceremony was solemnized by Dr. Donald C. Irwin, assisted by th§ Rev. Don Rosehbetger, in the pfegerice of 50 guests. The altar was decorated with baskets of white gladiolus and chrysanthefriums.Miss Effie Collamore, church organist, played the traditional wedding music.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a balierina-leneth gown of white lace over faille. Her shoulder-length veil was attached to a matching cap. She carried a nosegay of white sweetheart roses.Mrs. Erwin Nase of Hyattsville, Md., was matron of honor. She wore a turquoise gown of faille and had a wrist corsage of pink carnations.David Smithson of Washington, D, C., was best man and Keith Harding and Harold Toothman were ushers.The bride’s mother chose a green print lace dress and had a corsage of pink carnations.Following the ceremony, a reception for 25 guests was held at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Don Rosenberger of Silver Springs, Md.The bride attended Albany State Teacher’s College and graduated from Rochester Business Institute in 1947. She is employed as a secretary by the U. S. State Department in the United Nations Division of Political and Security Affairs. Mr. Williams studied at Capitol Radio Engineering Institute and George Washington University. He is an electronics engineer at Melpar, Inc., in Arlington, Va.Following a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will be at home after Sept. 20, at 2734 Ordway Street, N. W., Washington 8, D. C.
