These parties have been operated for the summer by Mrs. Florence Inniss and her committee. Mrs. Jean Perry and Mrs. Ernestine Anderson, and a few of the Legion members gave their services.The first auxiliary meeting of the fall will be on Wednesday evening, with Fresident Jean Perry presiding. Costa Rica, who has been employed for the summer vacation at the Atlantic hotel, Kennebunk Beach.Mrs. Waterhouse, says the young man plans to see as much of the United States as is possible. Ho felt very much at home at the Waterhouse home she said, as there were many souvenirs there from Costa Rica as reminders of the several years spent there by Mr. and Mrs. Waterhouse.A social evening was held ancl Mrs Waterhouse played a piano solo, “Rainy Day in San Jose,” which was written by Mrs. Waterhouse. She played several other of her own compositions. Chavez played a number of harmonica selections. Refreshments were served by the host and hostesses, Mr. and Mrs. Waterhouse and Mrs. Brooks Emery.Guests included Mrs. Frank M. Harris and son, William J., Lu-nenberg, Mass., were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Waterhouse at their home at Kennehunk Lower Village. Prof. and Mrs. Harris were on their way home from the Maine Writer’s conference which was held at Old Orchard Beach. Both Prof. and Mrs. Harris are summer teachers at the University of New Hampshire Writers conferences and Clark University.Enrollment of 1100 pupils set a new record in the Kennebunk schools and at the Kennebunkport Consolidated school another 204 were enrolled. Kennebunk’s figure was 70 higher than last year with further registrations 1 expected. Commenting on the opening day, Supt. John Seekins pointed out that problems were at a definite minimum as the result of excellent planning by principals, teachers, and other employes.The Arundel Juvenile grange outing will be held Wednesday night at York Beach with mem bers planning to attend the con tact the juvenile matron, Mrs Marv Ellen Card. Y., wore gowns of rose-geranium silk shantung. Their bouquets were of French roses with ivy.The best man was Mason Henry Dutton, father of the bridegroom.Ushers were George S. Sug-den, Frank L. Allen, Barry M. Bloom, and Arthur O. Clark.Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the Old Orchard Beach Country club.The bride is a graduate of the Old Orchard Beach High school in 1951, and Wheaton College in 1955. She has been employed as a chemist in the Kodak Research laboratories, Rochester, N. Y., for the past year.The bridgroom was graduated form the Maine Maritime Academy in 1947, and the University of New Hampshire in 1952, cum laude. His fraternity affiliations include Tau Beta Pi, Phi Mu Epsilon, Phi Kappa Alpha, and Phi Kappa Pi.At present he is attending Harvard Graduate school of Business Administration.He has served two years in the U.
