State Fair Minstrels—Mayor Dryburgh Officiates—A Large Number of Gifts on the “Shower List.Miss Ellen McCabe ami Mr. Holmes, both of this city, will be married at the public wedding which will take place at 10 .o’clock tonight at the Broadway airdrome. Mavor John Dryburgh will officiate. The bride will be given away bv A. M. Alderson, who was interlocutor of the state fair minstrels. Director G L. Jeancon will be master *)f ceremonies ; and the bridal pair will be attended by all the members of the minstrel company, who will be present in the costumes they wore at Hie minstrels. The State Capital band will play the wedding music, rnd the minstrel people will render a program of special music before and after the ceremony.Honeymoon at AlhambraThe bride and groom will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Sullivan at Alhambra Springs, 45 minutes from Helena, for the first week of the honeymoon.The gifts which have been showered on the bride and groom are numerous, and include articles which will he very welcome to the newly-* weds. The “shower” list will he found in another column of this morning’s Independent.This is “Old Town” night of stat • fair week, and the early days of Last Chance gulch will he reproduced in “mining camp” fashion. The program will begin at 7 r3() with a burrow race. Five animals will he in the “speed” contest, the route to he on Broadway from the upper stage to Warren street and return.The riders will he Mayor Mike Sullivan of Alhambra, Mayor Dominic Spogan of Belt, Mayor Lewis Newman of (ireat Falls, Mayor John Dryburgh of Helena, and Lieutenant Colonel A1 J. Galen of this city.The second and last performance of the state fair minstrels took place last night at the airdrome. A large crowd was present, and encores were given to each act.iOA I
