Miss Deborah Elaine Lazenby and Nathan Michael Rash, both of Statesville, exchanged their nuptial vows.The couple was married In the same church where his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Rash, route 5. Statesville, were married.The bride is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leroy Lazenby, Jr.. route 4, Statesville. A 1976 graduate of North Iredell High School, she isnow a sophomore at Mitchell Community College where she is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She is employed at Three Sisters. Her husband, who is also a 1976 graduate of NIHS and a sophomore at MCC. is employed at Showell Growers, Inc.Mrs. Everett Lewis of West Jefferson provided music for theShower Is Honorceremony and Rev W K Burehette. uncle of the bridegroom, officiatedThe couple entered the sanctuary together unattended She wore a light gray dress designed with a portrait neckline, slit capelet sleeves, and a flowing street-length skirt. She carried a white Bible, a gift from her grandparents. Mr and Mrs. James Fletcher Adkins of route 4. Statesville, that was topped with handmade silk flowers and an orchid. The bride is also the grand daughter of Mrs Walter Leroy Lazenby. Sr.. route 4. Statesville.Immediately following the ceremony. Mrs. W E Burehette. Mrs. Demma Woodie. and Mrs. Harrison Harless, all of West Jefferson and aunts of the bridegroom, were hostesses for the reception. Guests were entertained in the church fellowship hall.Mr. and Mrs Rash will reside at route 5. Statesville, after their honeymoon to Williamsburg. Va.
