Rev. Vernon L. Klemin was officiant.Given in marriage by her brother, Lee Norene of Sacramento, the bride wore a floor length gown of peau de lin and lace appliques in a S w i s s motif. The fitted empire bod i c e showed a scoop neckline and elbow length sleeves.A band encircled the empire midriff ending in a back bow. The detachable hemline panel, which gave added interest to the A-line skirt, was bordered with Swiss motif appliques.A circlet of orange blossomsand lily-of-the-valley secured the veil of silk illusion, completely edged with Chantilly lace.Sentimental tokens includ e d something old, a handkerchief made by her grandmother; new. a cameo necklace which was a gift from the bridegroom; borrowed, a bracelet from Marie Wilbur; and blue, the garter.The bride carried a bouquet of white spider chrysanthemums centered with a large white orchid.MAID OF HONOR was Nancy Biggs of Gridley. She wore a nile green floor length sheath of embroidered lace and chiffon over taffeta. The cake, made by Fern Killion, w a s decorated with yellow rosebuds. The cake was a gift to the newlyweds. Silver candelabras further decorated the table.Mrs. Glenda Saurage and Clo-teal Barker served the wedding cake.
