Pig# SixErna1 Sckmidt and Gordon Swenson WedA marriage ceremony read by the Rev. G. M. Krueger in Immanuel Lutheran church at Marshfield on Saturday afternoon, September 6, united Erna R. Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schmidt of Pittsville, and Gordon E. Swenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Swenson of Marshfield.With her princess style white satin gcwn, designed with a train, the bride wore a finger-tip lace edged veil caught to a high crown of seed pearls. *She cairied a bouquet of white lilies, asters and babv’s-breath. Her attendants at the 2 o’clock service were Miss Lorraine Swenson of Marshfield and Mrs. Clarence Swenson of Rockford, 111. The maid of honor wore pink chiffon and the bridesmaid was gowned in aqua chiffon. Both wore headbands of flowers with short \e:ls and wrist corsages of mixed flowers. IArthur Schmidt of PittSMlle and Clarence Swenson of Rockford attended the groom.The wedding supper was sened at the bride's home, tthere a reception followed the ceremony. Covers were laid for 33 guests, including Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Swenson and Oscar Swenson of Rockford, 111.Both young people attended the Marshfield high school. They v. ill reside on the Swenson fann near Marshfield.
