The big hotel at Mudlavia came near burning down last Thursday evening. The lire started in the carpenter shop and completely gutted it. The laundry was also partly destroyed and the power house damaged. The Attica fire department was called on for assistance and responded in autos. The origin of the fire is a mystery.
