Lt. Gen. John Forresthusbands, who were playing in the Seniors Golf Tournament at the Broadmoor Hotel, Vivian Williams, Kathy Speirs, Marilyn Penkhus and Pat Summers.Heather Melanie Redding andDr. Herschel Bernard Smartt were united in marriage at Grace Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Robert Hewitt officiating.Frank Shelton, Daryl Stevens and Michael Levy played trio selections on the harpsichord, flute and violin as guests arrived.Heather was escorted down the aisle by her brother-in-law, Dennis Junge. Her traditional gown was of white moussiline de sois with re-embroidered lace at the hem and bodice. The fingertip veil of illusion fell from a flower headband. She carried white roses, stephanotis, ivyVance Sonnenbergbachelor buttons and lavendar staticePamela Junge, the bride’s sister, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids, Mary Ann Smith, and Elisa, Heidi and Laura Junge are her nieces and godchildren. All of her attendants were dressed in long blue gown of dotted swiss and carried nosegays of gladioli, bachelor buttons and statice in blue, heather and white. The best man was Larry Reynolds of Idaho Falls, Idaho.The reception was held at the Redding home, where friends were greeted by Mrs. Redding in coral chiffon and Mrs. Donald David, the bridegroom’s mother, in champagne silk. Jessica and Eric Smartt attended the guest book.The newlyweds honeymooned in Glacier National Park, Montana, at Lake McDonald and the Many Glaciers Hotel.
