Attending the groom was Bob Thomborough as best man, the ushers were Don Crowe and Norman Dowd, friends of the groom.The bride’s mother chose a light blue crepe textured fortrel dress with cotton lace trim and white accessories, she wore a corsage of pink gladioli. . • ..The mother of the groom wore a sleeveless dress of shrimp colored fortrel. Her accessories were white with a corsage of white gladioli.Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Cypress River Memorial Hall, followed by a dance in the evening.The toast to the bride was proposed by Albert Van Den Bussche, cousin of the bride, to which the groom ably replied. Harvey Grift, brother of the bride, was in charge of the guest book.Out of town guests were from Winnipeg, Pilot Mound, Pine Falls, Mariapolis, Alta-mont, Cartwright, Holland, Argyle, Notre Dame, Baldur, Brandon, Meadows, Nesbitt.Far going away the bride wore a two-piece pant suit of light mauve bonded linen with a corsage of yellow roses.After their honeymoon trip west to B.C., the happy couple will reside at Ste. 5, 480rilgin Ave., Winnipeg.
