Sitton in Harvey, 111., was the scene of a candlelight wedding on the evening of Aug. 25, the i I marriage of her daughter, Vir- i i* ginia Miller of Harvey, to I George Bentley of Rhinelander. [• I In front of a fireplace altar '! amidst flowers and candles,’! vows were exchanged at t h e | double ring ceremony perform-[' * ed by the Rev. William Seiner. The bride wore mint g r e e n lace over silk crepe with matching hat veil, and carried a bridal bouquet of yellow roses with a yellow orchid removable corsage.The matron of honor, Gayle Taylor, daughter of the bridegroom, was dressed in frosted white organza over pale blue crepe-taffeta of street length. Her corsage was of pink roses.Roger Miller, the son of the bride, assisted the matron of honor and the bride down the stairway to the strains of “O Promise Me” and “Here Comes the Bride.”Mrs. Sitton, the hostess, was attired in yellow linen and lace accented with an orchid.Only the immediate families of bride and groom were present for the ceremony. Following the service, dinner was served for about 40 guests. The bride and groom climaxed the reception by cutting the wedding cake made and decorated by the bride’s mother — a special request of the b r i d e since she comes from a pioneer bakery family of Harvey,After the reception, the newlyweds left for a honeymoon at Wisconsin Dells.Mr. and Mrs. George Bentley and children, Valerie, Scott and Holly Miller, will soon be at home in their new residence, 1108 Coolidge Ave., in Rhinelander. The bridegroom is em-J ployed by Rhinelander division, St. Regis Paper Co., as shift supervisor in the calender department.
